Taylor Livingstone is a second year learning
disability student at Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to starting her
training she completed a HNC Early education and childcare at West Lothian
college. After completing this course Taylor worked as a nursery nurse on the
West Lothian council bank and worked in a special needs school for children
with severe complex needs. This inspired her to choose a career in learning
disability nursing.
For the last year Taylor and another student has
been acting as student rep for second year. Taylor has loved taking on this
role.
She has keen interest in people with learning
disabilities and mental health problems and will hopefully find a career in
this after her training.
