Meet Stuart - Sub-group member and ENU Blogger

Stuart Greig is a 2nd year Learning Disability Nurse at Edinburgh Napier University and became involved with the SLDNN student subgroup in 2015.

Stuart's passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues stems as far back as his school days where he carried out his work experience and volunteering at Westerlea School.

Within his year Stuart is a student rep and enjoys assisting other students and liaising with tutors on their behalf.

Stuart works in an assessment and treatment unit through the staff bank and enjoys taking shifts in other areas to increase his own knowledge base. In his spare time he coaches a local kids football team.

Throughout his time at university Stuart has taken a particular interest perceived challenging behaviour and hopes to progress this by completing a masters in it once he is qualified. Once he qualifies he hopes to work with children who live with a Learning Disability and behaviours that perceive to challenge.
